Cranberries -  Bog cranberries are now in various stages of green, pink, and red.  Since cranberries have a slow spoilage rate and high vitamin C content, they were standard fare on long sea journeys, where they were eaten to prevent scurvy.  Even though these leaves are small, the berries are the same as those cultivates and commercially marketed here in New England in the fall.
