Winterberry - Winterberries are bright red.  They are extremely showy in late fall and early winter.  They grow in swamps, damp thickets, and along pond edges.  Birds are attracted to them, which offers great photo opportunities.  However, the berries wilt quickly and do not last in dry arrangments.
